World War II Diary Transcribed at the Museum

A new acquisition to the museum in 2017 included the WWII diary of Charles P. Swift which he began on December 7, 1941 in Pearl Harbor and concludes September 20, 1942. The diary is part of the Swift/Bohn/Smith Family Collection that was donated by the Dolph and C. Phillip Swift families. 
A fascinating historical document covering some of the pivotal events in WWII history, the diary has been transcribed by museum staff and is available to read at the museum. ​
